MY STORY
Hello!
I am originally from Crowley, Louisiana, the "Rice Capitol of the World". I've spent nearly the last decade in Natchitoches. Hurricane Rita was the reason I moved further north, and this move gave me the push to pursue a degree in Home Interiors from Northwestern State University. I have always loved decorating, even as a child! Little did I know that Natchitoches would hold more than I ever dreamed.
Natchitoches has offered me so much since I arrived. In 2007, I happened upon the wonderful opportunity of working at Mason Salter's Fine Furniture, family-owned since 1939. Just a year later, I met my husband and in 2010 we were married. He keeps me laughing and is always there to keep me uplifted. In May of 2014, our first child was born, and those adventures are continually developing. And I can't forget my Yorkie , Cane, who has been at my side now for eight faithful years.
My time at Mason Salter's has not only provided exposure to fine home furnishings, but it has also provided the base for my broad experience: floor planning (pre-construction and during); doing room-to-room work; small area arrangements; interior decorating; color selection; accessories and other various designing. I've enjoyed managing the store and serving clients with my extensive knowledge and expertise. This varied and comprehensive background has not only introduced me to some great people (many of whom I now call friends!), but it has also helped me to appreciate the gift I have in this field.
Working with clients over the past couple of years has not only solidified my desire to spend more and more time with my passion but has brought to life what I love doing on a day-to-day basis. I look forward to helping you enjoy the easy serenity of a well-placed home, that just-right wall color and the peace of mind that comes with having one less thing to worry about in your daily routine.
